A wonderful collection of World War 1 memorabilia from John Bradley of Clydach? South Wales, whose online record show he served throughout the war 1914-1918.
1914/18 Star, British War and Victory Medals (all without ribbons). All uncleaned in “as found” condition.
The star medal is engraved 13547 PTE J. BRADLEY. SHROPS:L.I. (Shropshire Light Infantry) Very good condition.
The War medal is engraved 13547 PTE J. BRADLEY. SOM.L.I. (Somerset Light Infantry) - Condition : minor dent to reverse.
The Victory medal is engraved 13547 PTE J. BRADLEY. SOM.L.I. (Somerset Light Infantry) - Condition, small area of green corrosion to reverse.
- There is also a brass bar with the three ribbons on, however there is no pin, and the ribbons are worn, dirty and torn.
- A steel SHIRBRO ribbon bar.
- There is also a silver gilt enamel Buffalo Medal.
